ADOREMUS - the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church
19th August 2018
ADOREMUS EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS, LIVERPOOL 7th - 9th SEPTEMBER 2018:
Eucharistic Congresses are gatherings of clergy, religious and laity which promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church.
Many lay faithful from across the Diocese, as well as religious, clergy and Bishop Marcus, will be travelling to Liverpool to participate in person in the congress. Participants will engage in a series of sessions focusing on different dimensions of the Eucharist and the daily celebration and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
All parishes, religious communities and schools are enocuraged to pray for Adoremus in the coming weeks and to consider organising a Holy Hour at some point during the week leading up to the congress or over the weekend of the congress itself, so as to be united in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and to pray in particular for the intentions of the congress so that together we might promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church.
