For centuries, faithful Catholics have prayed for Our Lady’s intercession with her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, by meditating on the Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Inspired by this devotion during October – the Month of the Holy Rosary – is a new initiative from the Bishop’s Secretary, Anne Cooke. ALL are welcome to join with Anne, members of the diocesan curia, clergy and parishioners to pray the Rosary online for the intentions of our own Diocesan Family!
Each week, watch our events pages for a date, time and MS Teams Meeting link.
The next will be Tuesday 4 November 2025, via this link:
Online Rosary to Pray for our Diocese | Microsoft Teams | Meet-up-Join
(If you know someone who isn’t able to join online, let them know they can still unite in prayer by praying the Rosary on the same date and time!)
On Tuesdays we meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries, which are:
The Agony of Jesus in the Garden (Matthew 26:36–56)
The Scourging at the Pillar (Matthew 27:26)
The Crowning with Thorns (Matthew 27:27–31)
The Carrying of the Cross (Matthew 27:32)
The Crucifixion and the death of the Lord upon the Cross (Matthew 27:33–56).
