The 2025 Romero Lecture entitled Excavating Hope will take place at Leeds Trinity University’s City Centre Campus (1 Trevelyan Square, Leeds LS1 6AE) on 13 March, starting at 7.00pm.
This lecture will be given by Luis Orlando Pérez Jiménez – a human rights lawyer and Mexican Jesuit currently at the Institute of the Americas, University College London. He advocates for the dispossessed indigenous people in the Americas and for the ‘disappeared’ who have spoken out for justice.
