Prayers for the Holy Father Pope Francis

Bishop Marcus sends the following message:

“I ask the lay faithful, clergy and religious throughout our diocese to join me in fervent prayer for the Holy Father Pope Francis during this time of his serious illness. Let us ask Almighty God to grant the Holy Father the gift of healing, comfort in faith, the blessing of hope and the strength of divine love in his suffering. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Unfailing Help, intercede for him, and may the prayers of St George defend him from all evil.”
