In thanks for over 35 years of invaluable service to the Church and the parish, Terry Bossons, Parish Treasurer at SS Peter and Paul in Yeadon, has been awarded the Benemerenti Medal by His Holiness Pope Francis.
The medal and a framed certificate were presented to him by Parish Priest Fr David Murray in a surprise ceremony during the 9.00am Mass on Sunday 20 October.
This recognition of Terry’s service was warmly applauded by the parish as well as Terry’s family and close friends who had been tipped off in advance and made secret arrangements to ensure they were there to see him honoured!
Sincere thanks to Terry for all he has done for the parish and our heartiest congratulations on this richly deserved award!
