During Lent, Catholic primary school pupils from across Calderdale and Huddersfield gathered at All Saints’ Catholic College for a time of Adoration.
The event brought together children from the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust’s primary schools to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and formed part of our schools’ Jubilee ‘legacy’, building on similar events organised in Lent and Advent last year.
David Hymas, Governance Manager and Lead for Catholic Life said: ‘A particular thank you to Stacy Rhys-Hill and the chaplaincy team at All Saints’ for hosting and organising the day. The student chaplaincy group were excellent in welcoming and supporting the younger pupils and helped create a calm and prayerful atmosphere throughout. It provided a superb opportunity for our schools to come together in prayer during Lent, and we look forward to continuing this as part of our Jubilee legacy.’
