Many thanks also to Ben, Liam and John from the BBC for their musical and technical expertise; to the quartet of instrumentalists who played for the broadcast; to all our music directors who work with the young singers in our choirs; to Louise and Callum from Diocese of Leeds Music for their organising skills – and to all parents and chaperones … these are just a few of the many appreciative online comments from listeners … :
‘…thank you for a superb broadcast of Choral Vespers to celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph. What glorious sounds! This took me back to pre-Vatican Two days. It was a marvellous reminder of the magnificent musical tradition of the Church.’
‘Leeds has an impressive choral set up…’
‘Simply stunning!’
