Each of the Holy Week and Easter ceremonies at the Cathedral were attended by very large congregations who were led in worship by Bishop Marcus. The Easter Triduum – the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion and the Easter Vigil – were preceded by the Chrism Mass on the Wednesday of Holy Week, an occasion which brings together clergy, religious and the lay faithful from across the diocese.
