Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) is collaborating with the Word on Fire Institute (WOFI) on a series of live discussions about the Middle East and Africa.

The Persecuted Church series will feature conversations between ACN staff, Word on Fire representatives and theologians, as well as personal witness testimonies from clergy and lay people from Nigeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and the Holy Land.

The aim is to educate the laity about the reality of modern-day persecution, and to explore the relationship between martyrdom and evangelisation.

The sessions will be livestreamed via the WOFI platform between Monday 3 and Friday 7 November 2025, with 14 discussions in total. They will also be recorded and available to watch later for members of the Institute. A 30-day free trial is available The Persecuted Church Series
