Another Apennines Adventure

Last year, the Diocese of Leeds Chief Operating Officer’s pilgrimage in Italy along the St Francis Way was serialised in The Catholic Universe.

This year Ian Burrell walked a shorter but equally challenging ‘Camino’ through the Apennines.  His pilgrim’s progress along some of the most picturesque stages of the Via Francigena may be read in the current week’s Catholic Universe (published 9 August) – or viewed here: ViaFrancigena_Catholic Universe Article

Walk this Way…

Signs and portents…

Shrine of Saint Serafina in San Gimignano…and…non-slip paving in Monteriggioni

Siena Cathedral

…and remember, we have our own Diocese of Leeds ‘Camino’, so please contact Rowan via communications@dioceseofleeds.org.uk if you would like to join Ian and other pilgrims on 11 and 12 October 2019 as they walk

St Wilfrid’s Way!
