St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School in Ripon have taken part in local ‘Walk to School Days’ to protect the environment in the spirit of Laudato Si’!
The W2S days take place once every half term. They are supported by Zero Carbon Harrogate, with their mascot Spike the Hedgehog and motto, ‘Be a ZERO HERO and simply swap the car for your feet!’
St Wilfrid’s is one of around 60 schools now regularly taking part to promote good transport habits on a daily and weekly basis, to improve air quality, reduce congestion and improve pupil health and wellbeing.
