Mass at Leeds Cathedral for Survivors of Abuse

ALL are welcome to Leeds Cathedral on Tuesday 30 April at 12:30pm, when the Bishop will celebrate Holy Mass for the Day of Prayer for Victims and Survivors of Abuse.

Throughout the Church’s year, we pray for those who have experienced any form of abuse – and we always observe a particular Day of Prayer for Victims and Survivors of Abuse on the Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Easter.

What harms one can harm all – so as well as the individuals and families who have personally experienced the hurt of abuse, this year’s focus is also on communities which have been directly affected by abuse – especially, although not exclusively, within the Church.

The Mass will also be livestreamed via our YouTube channel: www.leedscathedrallive.org.uk
