Brothers Play Bach at St Joseph’s Ingrow!

Since Saturday evening, more than ten thousand people have attended a concert of JS Bach’s own works, and arrangements of his patrons’ music, at our beautiful neo-Romanesque Catholic Church of St Joseph in Ingrow, Keighley!

The Scott Brothers are a world-renowned organ and piano duo. They responded to Fr Anthony Rosso’s invitation for Jonathan Scott to play the online concert on the church’s 1974 Laycock and Bannister instrument. Tom Scott filmed and recorded the whole 45-minute concert which is available on YouTube and it has already been viewed and enjoyed by thousands!

The concert is just one of the special events put on by the Haworth and Ingrow Parish of Our Lady and St Joseph to celebrate the Year of St Joseph. Next year, the parish will be marking the centenary of St Joseph’s School, where Mass was celebrated before the church was built and before the parish was even created. Please consider supporting the parish in their special year via https://www.dioceseofleeds.org.uk/supporting-your-parish/

The Scott Brothers Duo perform all their online concerts free of charge and fund all their many other projects themselves; if having listened to the superb concert at St Joseph’s, you would like to support them, please feel free to do so via https://www.scottbrothersduo.com/SUPPORTUS.htm
