Congratulations to Deacon Edwin Murphy of St Edward’s parish, Clifford who celebrates his 100th birthday on Monday 21 December. Ordained in 1993 Edwin is now the longest-serving Permanent Deacon in the Diocese. To mark the occasion morning Mass at St Edward’s on the 21st is being celebrated for Deacon Edwin.
Bishop Marcus has sent his good wishes to Deacon Edwin on behalf of the clergy and lay faithful of the Diocese. Many Happy Returns of the Day from one and all!
