Cathedral Proves a Hit with Civic Trust Members

A couple of months ago a large group of Leeds Civic Trust members paid a visit to the Cathedral for a talk about its architecture and heritage, and a guided tour of the building. The Cathedral hosts a number of  such events each year; in the coming months, members of the Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust will be visiting in June and the Cathedral will also be taking part in the Heritage Open Days to be held in September.

Judging by the article below, which comes from the March 2024 edition of the Leeds Civic Trust’s monthly magazine, Outlook, the Cathedral continues to impress as the author describes it as ‘one of the great treasures of Leeds.’
