Leeds Trinity University

Leeds Trinity University is not only the higher education partner for our teaching schools, it is a Catholic University in the Diocese of Leeds and Bishop Marcus is the Ex-Officio Chair of the University. The Vicariate works with the University and especially the Institute for Childhood and Education to provide further support for our schools and development for our school staff.. The university provides a range of undergraduate courses not only offering routes into teaching but also other degrees in working with children, young people and families, education, religious education and early childhood studies. This is in addition to a wide range offer of courses in other disciplines. Professional development courses some leading to post-graduate qualifications are also open to staff in schools. The university hosts networks for local businesses and staff development programmes can be commissioned by companies who may also find a rich source of recruitment in the students at the university.
