ITT Routes into Teaching

There are now many routes into teaching and one of these is to train in one of our accredited teaching schools in the diocese.These are schools which are centres of excellence and accept a formal role to work with a university partner in this case Leeds Trinity University to:-
Provide high quality school-led initial teacher training (ITT) that can provide placements across several of our schools so that trainees gain a good breadth of experience observing outstanding lessons whilst being supported by school staff mentors with significant experience of the best practice in teaching. Schools Direct places are available from early years through primary up to secondary school. Placements are available in Catholic and non Catholic schools.
