Workshop on Dementia:

This virtual workshop took place to mark Dementia Action week under the title of ‘Dementia: Awareness and Action:  It starts with setting the scene by focusing on themes from Catholic Social Teaching. A powerful liturgy follows inspired by the Feast of Pentecost. We then heard powerful testimonials from two men living with different stages of dementia and two carers. This recording then shows feedback by the facilitators from groups considering the following topics: types of communication for people living with dementia; faith and dementia; advanced care planning.  What does this mean and why is this needed?. The last section focuses on current campaigns.
