Hello. My name is Alex Noad. I am a born and bred Leeds lad born in 1992 and training for the priesthood at St Mary’s College, Oscott. I am big Leeds United fan, a massive Batman nerd and a lover of music.
My journey to this point has been quite a long and wavy road. I have discerned whether God has been calling me to priesthood since I was 12 and have really been tested in my discernment since that age, however now I feel, more than I ever have, that I am doing God’s will and I couldn’t be happier.
I am currently on a 5-month pastoral placement at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Huddersfield, and have been learning a lot about what it takes to be a good and spiritual leader in a Parish. From what I have experienced, I hope to be a good shepherd, leading God’s people to Him.
Please do pray me and for all those discerning a vocation to priesthood, and please pray for priests. If anyone is thinking that they may have a vocation to priesthood, please do be open to that call.
