New Information for 2026

Bookings now open for the 2026 pilgrimage.

You can book online with Tangney Tours at:

or by phone on 01732 886666.

Hotel Padoue Bookings

If you wish to book at the Hotel Padoue, you must do this by telephone, as rooms are limited and reserved primarily for pilgrims who need assistance from the nursing team.

You may be asked to complete a medical form or to speak to one of the nurses prior to booking at the Padoue.
Once all assisted pilgrims have booked, any remaining rooms will open at the Padoue for others.

All other hotels can be booked either online or by phone.

New Hotel for 2026

This year we are adding the Astrid Hotel, a 4-star hotel opposite the Padoue.

Flights

We are hoping to have two flights from Leeds Bradford Airport in 2026, to allow everyone to travel more easily and together.

Please book early so that we can confirm that we are able to book two flights.

Flight times will not be confirmed until closer to departure but the earlier flight will be reserved primarily for assisted piglrims and members of the hospitality team.

Many pilgrims, including volunteers, return year after year with grace and generosity of spirit. For some assisted pilgrims it is their only opportunity to travel away from home and enriches their lives enormously.

The pilgrimage meets all Catholic Safeguarding requirements and fully implements the legislation, ensuring the wellbeing and safe care for all those in need.

We have traditionally managed the cost of the pilgrimage through a Lourdes fund, with income from fundraising activities and legacies. The fund is now depleted and with an annual cost to the Diocese of around £16,000 we are seeking new sources of income, hence this appeal.

We plan to increase our fundraising activities with more social events throughout the year – please support us at local events, either by attending or offering to help with managing local events.

Please consider supporting the Lourdes fund by donating to the Second Collection which coincides with the World Day of the Sick and the Feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. Donations are also gratefully received online via the QR code below.
