Three Peaks Challenge for St Patrick’s Mission

Bradford’s Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the Friends of St Patrick’s Mission, parishioners from across the Diocese of Leeds and our Chief Operating Officer all completed the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 7 August.

Many thanks also to all the First Aiders and Marshals – including those who responded to the call put out by the Bradford Telegraph and Argus and The Craven Herald, enabling the walk to take place safely!

The weather was damp and foggy, but the walkers’ objective was clear; to complete the 26 mile trek within 12 hours to raise their £10,000 target.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of many sponsors, we’re almost half way there – and there’s still time to give and support the charitable work and evangelisation at St Patrick’s Mission by visiting https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/SPM-Peaks-2021

On the way up …

The end is in sight …

…tough at the top …
