St Wilfrid’s Way 2021 – our annual diocesan two-day Pilgrimage between Leeds and Ripon – is an excellent way to contemplate the forthcoming ‘synodal’ or ‘listening process’ From Parish to Mission by signing-up to join walkers from across the Diocese in ‘journeying together along the same path’ both literally and figuratively on the Friday and Saturday preceding St Wilfrid’s Feast Day!
Basic information is on the following poster. ALL are welcome to join the walkers for the Pilgrims’ Masses at Leeds Cathedral and at the beautifully-refurbished St Wilfrids’ Church in Ripon which start and end the Camino.
All wishing to walk on either or both days, please register your interest by emailing office@dioceseofleeds.org.uk copying in communications@dioceseofleeds.org.uk and we can send you more details and this year’s St Wilfrid’s Way Route Booklet compiled by ‘Camino Supremo’ Stephen Habron…
Together with Our Lady of Unfailing Help, St Wilfrid is one of the Patrons of our Diocese. His Feast Day is on 12 October.
