St Mary’s, Halifax – Year 6 Passion Play

Mr Mark Brennan, the Headteacher of St Mary’s Primary School in Halifax writes:

Our Year 5 children normally perform a Passion Play on stage at school for the whole community (with hymns normally of course) but they were prevented from doing it last year because of Covid-19. However, they are now in Year 6 and have remembered all the words, so we thought we would produce this podcast version instead this year: https://www.stmaryshalifax.co.uk/faith-life/holy-week

The play lasts about 15 minutes and covers the events of Holy Week –  the school plans an Easter update when they return after the holidays. Halifax may well be a long way from Oberammergau, but watch this space!
