Parishioners attending Sunday’s 10 o’clock Mass at St Paul’s in Alwoodley were able to share in a joyful acknowledgement and celebration of senior altar server, John Gallagher’s outstanding record of service to the Church.
St John Mary Vianney Parish Priest, Mgr Philip Moger, presented the Guild of St Stephen golden medal to John, who, starting at St Joseph’s Church in Hunslet, has now served Mass in our Diocese for sixty-two years!
