Rosary Round the World for the Holy Father’s Pandemic Prayer Intentions

The month of May is traditionally a time when we give special honour to Our Blessed Lady. Pope Francis is requesting that during the whole of May, the entire Church invoke the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary for the end of the pandemic, inviting all of us to pray fervently for those most closely affected by it.

Beginning on 1 May 2021 with our own English National Catholic Shrine in Walsingham, thirty Marian Shrines around the world will take turns leading this prayer throughout the Church and offering the faithful a series of prayer moments for them to participate throughout the entire day.

Download and follow this Liturgical Guide and List of Shrines and Specific Prayer Intentions so that during each day of May, we can all pray for the end of the pandemic, united in the recitation of the Holy Rosary together as members of the Universal Church.
