Record Results for Harrogate’s Catholic High School!

Students and staff at St John Fisher Catholic High School in Harrogate are celebrating record GCSE and A Level examination success across all headline measures and a wide range of subjects.

Head Teacher Steve Mort said, ‘It is a privilege to work with young people who have such high aspirations, and it is wonderful to see students of all abilities excelling academically as well as witnessing their spiritual and personal growth during their time with us.

We now look forward to welcoming most students back into our Associated Sixth Form, which this year has achieved the best results to date. For those students who are moving on to other post-16 establishments, we wish them the very best with their future endeavours and thank them for their contributions to life at St John Fisher.

I would like to thank our families for working in close partnership with the school throughout the past five years which has contributed significantly to students securing these fantastic outcomes. My thanks also to our dedicated teaching and support staff. They have worked incredibly hard to support our students’ academic and personal development and to prepare them to progress on to their post-16 studies.’

Diocese of Leeds Director of Education Kieron Flood said, ‘Our congratulations go out to all our students and their families for these amazing results. Our students have demonstrated diligence, commitment, and tenacity throughout their time at St John Fisher!’
