Re-dedication of England as the Dowry of Our Lady

BEHOLD 2020 is this year’s Re-dedication of England as the Dowry of Our Lady.

Events in the Diocese of Leeds to mark this occasion include the following, and can also be found in our Events Guide:

Friday 21 February 2020: the beginning of a personal 33 day consecration to Jesus through Mary, including an invitation to go to the Sacrament of Confession during Lent.

Wednesday 25 March 2020: Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, all who are following the consecration will consecrate themselves to Jesus through Mary on this day.

Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 March 2020: a three-day triduum of prayer in which all will be invited to recite the Litany of the Saints and Martyrs of England, to pray the Rosary and go to Confession in preparation for the rededication.

Sunday 29 March 2020 (first Sunday after the Solemnity of the Annunciation): the personal rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary will happen in Walsingham, in every Catholic Cathedral, in every parish and hopefully in as many homes as possible. Bishop Marcus will celebrate Mass in Leeds Cathedral on that day, concluding with the Angelus and the Act of Rededication at 12.00 Noon.

Information produced by the Shrine at Walsingham is available online about ‘Behold 2020’ and the Re-Dedication of England as the Dowry of Mary via: www.behold2020.com
