Bishop Marcus is one of two Bishops of England and Wales who will be attending the Synod in Rome throughout the month of October (the other is Archbishop John Wilson, also originally from our diocese).
In a Pastoral Letter to the clergy and laity of the Diocese of Leeds, the Bishop asks for prayers for the XVI Synod of Bishops, as he and all the members of the General Assembly prepare to take part in an ecumenical vigil of prayer on the evening of 30 September, followed by a three-day spiritual retreat.
