With several facilitators in attendance, Bishop Marcus celebrated Mass at Leeds Cathedral on Saturday 2nd April 2022. Two young people from The Twelve, Youth Leadership Team for the Diocese of Leeds, presented Bishop Marcus with the final report.
The report was compiled using guidance from the Holy See, by a synthesis team of over 15 women and men from across the diocese aged 24 to 80+. It will soon be published on this website and sent to Parishes. Bishop Marcus will take our report to the Bishops’ Conference.
We are very grateful indeed to all those who have taken part in these phase of the synodal journey. As the diocesan phase of listening begins, may we continue to pray for each other and for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our church that we may journey together growing in holiness.
