Please pray for Paul Coates: Newspaper Editor, husband of Katie and father of Chris and Andrew, parishioner at St Mary’s Parish in Halifax – and now … admitted as a candidate for Holy Orders as a Permanent Deacon by Bishop Marcus during Mass on the evening of Tuesday 22 February 2022.
Paul and his family, Parish Priest Fr Martin Kelly and Parish Deacon John Walsh were also joined by former Parish Priest Mgr David Smith and by Deacon David Arblaster, the Director of Deacons for the Diocese.
