Across the Universal Church, this is Laudato Si’ Week (16-25 May 2021) – but throughout the homes, schools and parishes which together comprise the Diocese of Leeds, every week is the time to follow Pope Francis’ exhortation to celebrate God’s creation, and the urgent need to protect and care for the Earth, Our Common Home!
As we carefully and cautiously venture forth into the world again, our Laudato Si’ Mini Pilgrimages are being planned to re-launch at the end of June with a Pilgrimage walk through the woodland and – weather and pandemic permitting – an outdoor social event at Myddelton Grange Calvary in our Ilkley Parish of the Sacred Heart.

ALL will be welcome to any part of this Risk-Assessed event – but we need to know numbers attending in advance, so emailing us will enable us safely to plan what may well be this year’s first ‘in-person pilgrimage’ – and to contact you if plans need to be revised!
