On Thursday 13 October young people from St Bede’s & St Joseph’s Catholic College, Bradford and St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School, Featherstone, travelled to Hinsley Hall for Revelation, the Leeds Diocesan Youth Service’s monthly youth event.
Focusing on the theme of ‘Connection’ the evening reflected on the different connections there are in the world, who we might connect with and how each of us plays a significant role. Looking at St John Henry Newman’s quote about how each of us are links in a chain, and likening this to the ideas of a bridge, the group reflected on their own connections and how these connections need to be strong in order to work properly.
The evening also included some icebreakers, prayer, fellowship and a time of adoration in the chapel. Thank you to all those who came!
