The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales (CBCEW) and partner CAFOD have created a Prayer Card with the Holy Father’s Jubilee Prayer and using the Jubilee Icon which CAFOD commissioned.
Prayer cards featuring the icon are being printed in the Diocese and will be delivered in January to the Cathedral and those churches and chapels which the Bishop has designated as our ‘Pilgrimage Churches’ during the Holy Year and will also be made available in the chaplaincies at our local prisons.
Throughout the Holy Year, the Jubilee Icon will be visiting dioceses across England and Wales. It will be coming to the Diocese of Leeds in time for the 21 May 2025 ‘Good Shepherd Celebration’ and will be staying at Leeds Cathedral until after the 11am Mass on Sunday 25 May.
