An Ilkley Parish project with sustainability at its core – hearing both the ‘Cry of the Earth’ and the ‘Cry of the People’ – is currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary!
Ilkley Tools for Africa was founded at Sacred Heart Parish in 2004. To date the scheme has recycled more than 80,000 tools and 450 sewing machines to projects mainly in Central and Eastern Africa.
