In Huddersfield, the junior choirs from of St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School came together for a special SVP Afternoon Tea Party held at All Saints’ Catholic College.

The Choral Director was Roly Mander from the Diocese of Leeds Music’s Schools Singing Programme, and the event was attended by members of the Holy Redeemer Parish SVP group. The chaplaincy team at All Saints played a key role in hosting the afternoon, and governors were also present to see the choirs perform.

David Hymas, who is Governance Manager and Lead for Catholic Life at the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust (BPSCAT) said:
‘The event was part of our Jubilee Legacy celebrations, recalling the Jubilee for Musicians, and was a wonderful example of our schools and parish communities working together ‘in harmony’! It was a fantastic occasion, bringing together primary and secondary pupils alongside the wider parish community, and celebrating the joy of music within our Catholic schools!’
