Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, has joined forces with Andy ‘The Burley Banksy’ McVeigh, to create a unique artwork celebrating the school’s rich cultural diversity.
The Kirkstall school is part of the St Gregory the Great Catholic Academy Trust (SGCAT) in the Diocese of Leeds, where at least 40 languages are spoken in our parishes and schools. With artistic guidance from the Burley Banksy, the children translated ‘We Love Sacred Heart’ into each of their mother-tongues, creating a work which will be exhibited to the whole community.
