Since Hinsley Hall reopened earlier this month for B&B and conferences, General Manager Jack McGrory and all the staff have been delighted by the feedback from guests staying at ‘our country retreat in the city’.
Visitors have given our ‘welcoming, helpful and friendly’ staff ten out of ten as well as for the building’s location and value for money. Top marks are also being given for cleanliness and for Covid-safety, with provisions including a temperature sensor on entry, physical distancing enabled by large tables in the spacious dining room and many conveniently-placed hand sanitising stations.
One senior NHS trainer gave the view from her clinical perspective that the hygiene and Covid-secure arrangements in place from the moment she set foot in Hinsley Hall were ‘far and beyond the best’ she had observed in her travels across the UK!
All those who have stayed overnight have commented on what they have called an ‘iconic’ building (it’s certainly a building full of icons!) and ‘perfect’ location: ‘Thank you for the peaceful and convenient place to stay while visiting family in Leeds…We really enjoyed the rural nature of the property.’
Others have described it as ‘…a hidden gem set apart from the bustle of Headingley … it was a privilege to have the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful building, very spacious and full of interesting pictures…’
One theme running through all the reviews is the ‘lovely big breakfast…’ on offer, with one couple enthusing that it was ‘…better than most 4-star buffets we have had…’
