Heritage Open Days is a nationwide event taking place from 6th to 15th September.
Several notable churches in our diocese are taking part this year:
- Leeds Cathedral
- St Edward’s, Clifford
- St Joseph’s, Pontefract
- St Robert’s, Harrogate
- St Stephen’s, Skipton.
St Edward’s will be welcoming visitors to the church on Monday 9th September while St Joseph’s, St Robert’s and St Stephen’s will be doing the same on Saturday 14th September.
Leeds Cathedral is offering guided tours on Saturday 7th, Wednesday 11th and Saturday14th September. There will also be an opportunity to visit the bell tower and hear a short organ recital, with refreshments served in Wheeler Hall.
