Friars LIVE on Facebook

The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Bradford, have taken to Facebook to live-stream some of their prayer life and worship. The Friars invite us to join them from our homes for:

Holy Hour and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Adoration: with music, meditations – Daily 3pm (1hr)

Night Prayer and Rosary: Daily 9pm Daily (30mins)

Harbour Prayer Group Holy Hour: with Praise, Worship Music, Teaching, Prayer and Adoration – Fridays 8pm (1hr)

These devotions will be live on the St Patrick’s Mission Facebook page: @StPioFriary and the videos will also remain available on the St Patrick’s Mission Facebook page here

The Friars at St Patrick’s Mission do extraordinary work in the centre of Bradford with the poor and destitute. However, until further notice the following changes to the services they provide have been made as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown:

  • The Church will remain closed, in line with government restrictions
  • The Monday Open Doors sandwich service will continue as usual (Mondays 11am-2pm)
  • The Open Doors Soup Kitchen (Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am-2pm) will continue to operate but patrons will NOT be able to enter the building or courtyard area. Instead, soup, sandwiches, along with tea or coffee will be available at the main entrance

The work the Friars do is made possible by the help of volunteers and by people’s generous donations of food and clothing.
