In his 6th century Rule\, Saint Benedict begins his chapter on Lent with the words: “The life of the monk ought to be a continuous Lent” – to which you might add: ‘Well\, I’m glad I’m not a monk’\, or ‘And I thought 40 days was bad enough!’. But if Lent is truly a time for renewal\, then in some ways it should be Lent every day\, since each day we are called to renew our trust and hope in the Lord\, the giver of life. This Lent is a time for us to renew our faith and continue on our pilgrim journey towards the celebration of the Resurrection.

DESCRIPTION:Journey with Friends of the Holy Land in the footsteps of Jesus this Holy Week! \nSadly\, the procession and Holy Week public worship has been cancelled due to the security situation. \nTherefore\, to inspire our spiritual reflections throughout Holy Week\, Friends of the Holy Land has brought together a series of videos filmed in the Holy Land to help us to explore the places\, as they appear today\, that Jesus would have journeyed through on His way to the Cross. \nThe first video\, from Saxum International Foundation\, allows us to follow the route from the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday \nAll the videos will be available on the Friends of the Holy Land website
