St Monica prayed that her violent husband would repent before he died  – and he did! \nSt Monica is a Patron Saint of all victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.  The Leeds charity which provides short-term accommodation for destitute female asylum seekers\, St Monica’s Housing\, is named after her. \nIf you have information of a safeguarding nature where a child or adult at risk is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention call emergency services on 999.
