This talk given by Fr. Leo J. R. Daley will enunciate the spiritual vision which informed Caravaggio’s astonishing works  as a counterpoint to the modern views which attempts to try and understand the great artist through purely modern lenses. Caravaggio’s unique ability to communicate a deeply held Christian faith as the source of his work will be explored during this lecture.
