Proclaiming the Word of God
The Diocese of Leeds has produced a guide for people who read at Mass. It contains information about the importance of the ministry of reading, looking at how the Lectionary is put together, as well as provides practical tips for readers. To access the Guide, click on the link here.

Sunday of the Word of God (3rd Sun in Ordinary Time – 24th Jan 2021)
In 2019 Pope Francis issued an Apostolic Letter instituting a “Sunday of the Word of God” which dedicates the 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time as an occasion for the whole Church to celebrate God’s Word in the Liturgy.
For ideas on how parishes might celebrate this new initiative of Pope Francis, the Irish Bishops’ Conference has produced a resource.
