Job description: Duty Manager

Responsible to: General Manager/COO

5 shifts per week over 7 days, varied shift pattern

Meals when on duty provided

Principle objectives:

To work alongside the Hinsley Team to provide excellent customer service in the Reception area, Bar and Conference facilities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To handle guests queries, bookings and departures with patience and ensuring a good customer experience
  • To manage meeting room bookings, set ups and queries ensuring the customer is provided with everything required to run their event smoothly
  • To run a small bar as and when required by guests staying at Hinsley Hall
  • To be able to handle cash and credit cards as appropriate
  • To be responsible for the smooth running of service of meals in the dining room, ensuring good communication with the chef and kitchen staff

  • Computer literacy
  • Physically fit
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience of customer service in a catering environment
  • Bar experience
  • Experience of team work

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
