This Sunday (3 May) at 7.10am, the BBC Radio 4 Sunday programme will feature the work of the Diocese of Leeds Schools Singing Programme.
Diocese of Leeds Music wasted no time in moving their programme of 18 after-school choirs online and continuing their work in 53 of our Catholic schools through daily YouTube singing sessions led by their Choral Directors.
Tune in to hear how the team are putting their new digital and presentational skills to good use, and how valuable – and fun! – the children they are working with are finding the continuing rehearsals!

During the current lockdown, please consider supporting our young singers and helping Diocese of Leeds Music’s mission to evangelise through Music and Liturgy.
(…and there’s more from the country’s most-broadcast Diocesan Choirs on the BBC, as on Sunday 14 June 2020 at 8.10am, their choral CD’s and previous BBC recordings provide the music for BBC Radio 4’s flagship worship programme, Sunday Worship, when regular Daily Service presenter Fr Michael Hall (St Joseph’s Parish, Brighouse and St Patrick’s Parish, Elland) and Deacon Henry Longbottom (St John Henry Newman Parish, East Leeds) present a special edition of the programme for the Feast of Corpus Christi…)
