13 to 19 May 2024 is Dementia Awareness Week; please pray for all those living with dementia and for their families and carers!
Co-authored by our own Dcn Joseph Cortis and Dr Pia Matthews of St Mary’s University in Twickenham, and with personal accounts from the Caritas Leeds Dementia Group, the book offers ways of thinking about how people living with dementia and their families/carers can stay or be reconnected to parishes. It offers practical information, hints and points of reflection from people who have already been on this journey. From diagnosis, to living well with dementia, to issues of dying, death and bereavement this book is a spiritual and practical guide.
