COP26: Pope Francis on BBC Radio 4

If ever there was a time when the Holy Father would wish to broadcast via the BBC it is now, in the days leading up to COP26: the United Nations Climate Change Conference being held in Glasgow between Sunday 31 October and Friday 12 November.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Thought for the Day, Pope Francis emphasised his Laudato Si’ message in the context of the social, humanitarian, health and economic crises which beset us – and the opportunities this unsettling time presents to us for real change, for a sense of shared responsibility, leading to a collective response for the Common Good and the dignity of all humanity.
