Bishop Marcus began his round of Confirmation services with the Parishes of Holy Family and Christ the King, in West Leeds, on the evening of Wednesday 9 November. Thirty children and young adults received the sacrament from the Bishop.
Holy Family Church was packed with family and friends, and both parish primary schools were represented by their Headteachers and members of staff.
The Bishop spoke about his own Confirmation and told the candidates that, although they might not become priests or bishops themselves, it was now their mission to share their faith with others.
Parish Priest, Father Neil Byrne, and the Catechists who prepared the candidates for Confirmation are very proud of them all.
