Christ is Alive!

The Holy See has announced the publication of Pope Francis’s Apostolic Exhortation to Young People, Christus Vivit (Christ is Alive!)

In the document, Pope Francis makes a heartfelt appeal to young people, addressing them directly throughout. The Pope’s intention is that the young understand the important role they play within the Church, through highlighting young saints and biblical figures, and even the youth of Jesus himself.

The Pope is also addressing the Church as a whole, reminding us all of the youthfulness the Church should embody, and of the importance of listening to young people. He also offers guidelines for renewing youth ministry and ways of attracting young people to the Church.
