Caritas Leeds: Criminal Justice Workshops

Throughout 2021 and in the run-up to Prisoners Sunday (always the second Sunday in October; this year on 10 October), Caritas Leeds will be running regular online events for Catholics interested in gaining greater understanding of the experiences of victims of crime, prisoners, ex-offenders and their families: how we can better serve them and ways to promote positive change in the criminal justice system.

Each workshop is a unique opportunity to learn about how the criminal justice system works, hear personal testimonies from people with lived experience and explore how Catholics can take action to promote both justice and mercy.

Wednesday 12 May at 6:30-8pm
Life in Prison
Speaker: Chris White, Catholic chaplain at HM Prison Leeds.

Tuesday 8 June, 6:30-8pm
